Our family had Andrew as a guide while we were in Arusha. He was very knowledgeable, interesting, funny, and engaging. He was able to give us a lot of information on each animal we saw as well as Arusha, it's people and it's history. For as long as I can remember, my wife and I have talked about going on an African safari. She has always loved animals and it has been a lifelong dream of hers to see big animals in their natural environment.  The main concern for us was, that with Africa being so far away from the States, we might only get one chance at going and we wanted to do it right. We came across Andrew Henerico through a tour group that highly recommended him and we are so very happy that they did. From the moment that he picked us up at the airport in Arusha, it became evident the vast amount of knowledge of the region and animals coupled with real passion that Andrew brings to your day(s) with him. After spending ten days together, I can honestly say that I cannot imagine there being a better guide for this region than him. Enthusiastic from the start of every day, right to the very end. Able to clearly and thoughtfully answer every question asked of him. We saw so many animals and had such an incredible time, it was truly unbelievable. Wewere fortunate to have Andrew Henerico as our guide on a six day safari . Andrew was with us all the time for six days in Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti. We had an awesome trip… Andrew knew just about everything on animals, birds, nature and the links between the natural cycles. We saw the big five as also numerous other animals and birds – lions, cheetahs, leopards, rhinos, buffalos, elephants, four types of hornbills, ostriches, giraffes, jackals, and the works! Possibly every animal and bird in the area except the serval cat! Andrew was cheerful and enthusiastic, and patiently took us back  to see birds one more time and repeated bird names for us!

I have been to several protected areas across the world, and traveled with numerous guides, Andrew far surpasses all of them in his uncanny ability to spot the animal and his complete knowledge about the habitat in Tanzania.
